Things are looking better for minnesota?

I have been quite upset about the vikings free agency so far this year. As Ive been reading its all made sense that they haven't been active. People are going out and paying way too much on free agents that have not shown so far that they are worth the huge contracts. But as i have checked multiple sites throughout the day, I've seen that the vikings and rick spielman have been doing something at least. NFL.COM is reporting that the vikings have scheduled a meeting with FS. Oshiomogho Atogwe. Okay ill start by saying Atogwe may not be the best safety but he is an upgrade over guys like Husain Abdullah and Tyrell Johnson. I think Abdullah will stay but i would love to see Johnson out of Minnesota, he hasn't shown he is worthy of playing safety ever since hes been drafted. Also 1500espn.com is reporting that the vikings are also meeting with Offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz. Those are a few interesting stories as well as the good news on CB. Chris Cook today. I believe that when cook is not causing troubles at strip clubs that he is definitely a defensive player that we need to be on the field on Sundays. What do you guys think of all this active news finally? anyone else agree with me that we should also be trying to get Mario Manningham or Brandon Lloyd to Minnesota?
