Two of the top LT free agents are still available to the Vikes.
What happens if Spielmann gets one of them? McNeil came in for a visit a couple of months ago and say we get him for 4-6 mill for a year.
Then say he also gets Carr. That takes care of two starting jobs for this year.
I think Spielmann maybe agling for Blackmon, and I'm not sure I'd hate the move.
So here is the mock.
1st Blackmon- All the great receivers came off the FA market fast. Blackmon gets us all the great skills and is quite allot cheaper. Plus we get him for 5 years.
2nd Zach Brown OLB- The kid's superman. Pretty raw but could be everything the Vikes need in a LB down the road.
3rd Markell Martin FS- Should be able to start right away, and be an upgrade at the position. Or at least not allot worse.
4th Nate Potter OT- Looked awsome in the post season. Should be a WIP but he'll have a year to learn the spot.
4th comp Coryell Judie CB- He has a bit of an injury history, but seems like steal here.
5th Tom Compton OT- A backup, also in case Potter doesn't pan out.
5th comp Joe Adams WR- A backup for Percy he can also return kicks and punts.
6th Matt Daniels SS- Will push for a starting job over time but will make an impact on ST now.
2 7th rounders could just go BPA or fast backups.
Who do you guys think Spielmann Picks? Who would you pick?
