You have got to love the play on words dorks like us come up with, but seriously watching the Superbowl and seeing how Eli Manning just seems calm and cool in the face of adversity is awesome to watch. Being a retired Gulf War Veteran, I've seen it in a different sort of way. Anyway, seeing Christian Ponder in his NFL debut all of us were going crazy, as the season progressed and the Offensive Coordinator seemingly worked against Ponders strengths things where in complete dissary.
Watching Christian later in the year even when he was banged up, he didn't really look shaken or rattled, he just played the offensive program given him. I think any Elite Quarterback would have looked at our game plan and told the OC he was completely stupid. Now by actually playing to the offensive strengthsand a good game plan, I think our QB has a good chance at getting " IT ".
The ones that succed put in the long hours of studying and reading defenses, I'm calling on the Purple Nation, do you think our QB, be it Christian or Joe will put in the time to lead their team. From all that we are hearing from the off season I think they are, that they want those close loses last year become wins. I think next season we are looking at 9 - 7 or 10 - 6 and no I wasn't a LSD test baby in the Army either, so how will we do.
