Everyone's favorite bounty hunters are appealing their suspensions.

You Read That Right.

Yes folks it appears that at the NFL level, when you do wrong, lie about it, then ADMIT to doing wrong, and "taking full responsibility" for doing wrong, it means that "Hey I should appeal the punishment i got for doing said wrong"

Now when i say/ type this please note that: Sean Payton, Mickey Loomis, Joe Vitt, And the NO franchise all filed their appeals separately.

Payton is suspended for one season, Loomis for 8 games and Vitt for 6

Gregg 'BJ don't finish the game' Williams is NOT appealing his indefinite suspension.

The Saints were fined $500,000 And two second round draft picks and i believe Loomis was fined $100,000

All parties involved have until April 1st to file an appeal

So it appears that the Asterisked franchise feels above the law.

a little more after the jump

Its this humble poster's opinion that if one break the law of the land one needs to face the music

I understand that some feel that the appeal is a "standard" kind of thing but after you admit to wrongdoing and are punished that's when its time to go sit in the corner and be done with it.

most of my information came from nfl.com
