Vikings sign ex-Dolphins and ex-Saints linebacker Marvin Mitchell

According to Jeremy Fowler of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Vikings have signed another player this offseason. And like most of the other signings, it isn't a big name. This time the Vikings have added former Saints and Dolphins linebacker Marvin Mitchell. At this point it's hard to tell where Mitchell will fit in, but most likely he will be a Special Teams player at best and a camp body at worst.

The 6-foot-3, 249-pound Mitchell, a 2007 seventh-round pick by the New Orleans Saints, played four years with New Orleans before joining Miami, where he recorded 30 tackles, one sack, one interception and one forced fumble last season. Twelve of those tackles came on special teams.

Mitchell is the Vikings' 13th signing since free agency began March 13.
