This is a tad bit late, but as you may know, my Jets have employed Karl Dunbar as our DL coach. i'm wondering what you guys have to say about him, his coaching style, and his successes/failures.
here's some background info, for those who aren't too knowledgable about the Jets.
our DL consists of DE Mo wilkerson, NT Sione Pouha, DE Mike devito.
Mo wilkerson was a very solid rookie last year, and looked to be developing into a very good player towards the end of the season. Sione Pouha is 33 year old veteran who's definitely one of the better NTs in the league. Not on par with Ngata but he's still pretty good. fantastic run stuffer. Devito is also a veteran run stuffer, a very underrated player.
we have VERY good depth on the DL. at the moment, i'd say our defense's strengths are Cornerback (Revis, Cromarti, and Wilson are by far the best 3 corner tandem in the league), ILB (david harris is the most underrated defensive player in the league, in my opinion) and DL.
basically what i'm wondering is how signing Karl Dunbar as our DL coach will improve our DL and overall defense.
thanks in advance from your friends at GGN
