So I was just following Mike Williamson on twitter and he suggested a team throw in 2 picks for a Mike Wallace trade:
That got me thinking....
With Spielman going young, looking to get 100000000 picks in this years draft, anyway he packages 2 picks for Mike Wallace right before the draft if we drop from #3 to say #8-ish from Miami.
Wallace is in his prime, young and one of the best deep threats, minus Megatron, in the game.
Now I know draft is the way to go while bringing up players such as Percy, AD, Cindy Rice....but a Mike Wallace with a extension signed could not only help our WR corps but make our Vikings (dare I say BETTER) then the detroits megatron and friends over in Detroit?
Percy, Wallace, Jenkins, AD, Rudolf, and the new Carlson for Ponder to throw too....excuse me while I wipe the drool off my mouth....
Let me say Im not a huge fan of giving up picks, but the draft is kinda a crap shot. With our Vikings flying under the radar in FA and picking up Mike Wallace for 2 picks all while addressing LT and CB in the draft would be KILLER!
What do you think?? What picks would you give up for Wallace to be in purple?
UPDATE: I was suggesting a TRADE not a tender for Mike Wallace. A Trade of 2 draft picks for MIKE not the tender tag. Meaning trading a 2nd rounder and a 4th pending on a restructured contract signing.
