We all know our Vikings are lacking quality depth at the Linebacker position. With the draft rapidly approaching, I'm looking for the opinions of those more knowledgeable than I on the following questions:
- Should the Vikings target a traditional 4-3 middle linebacker like Audie Cole, Nigel Bradham, or James-Micheal Johnson to provide depth and to push Jasper Brinkley?
- Should the Vikings move Erin Henderson to middle linebacker in their base defense and target a speedy outside linebacker like Zach Brown, Lavonte David, or Sean Spence to increase the speed and playmaking ability of our linebacking corps?
- Should the Vikings target a hybrid player to play OLB/Safety, like Antonio Allen, Brandon Taylor, or Duke Ihenacho, whose strong in run support and has the coverage skills to match up with the athletic, pass catching tight-ends/running backs in our division?
