According to this article from the Pioneer Press, Viking's GM Rick Spielman has cut the list of potential draft choices at #3 to three candidates. To no one's surprise those 3 are: USC offensive tackle Matt Kalil, Oklahoma St. receiver Justin Blackmon and LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne. According to the article, Spielman has essentially told the other members of the Viking's war room that these 3 players have a similar grade and so their focus between now and the draft will be to re-evalute the game film of each player.

Spielman is also quoted as saying that he has received interest from other teams to trade out of the #3 spot, but that they will wait until draft night to commit to any such scenarios.
