Despair, anger and grief. Words to describe what most of you are feeling. It almost feels like a beloved relative is in the hospital and things aren't looking good and we are just one phone call away from shedding tears.
For those involved in our Government, it is time to wake up.
We lost the Lakers and they became arguably one of the best teams in the NBA. We lost the North Stars to a state that cannot even support pond hockey. We even lost our Government for a week because of lack of professionalism. And now they are at it again, provoking our beloved Vikings into moving. There truly is no stopping other states from laughing at Minnesota politics and their inability to compromise.
I can tell you one thing, this tax payer wants his Vikings to stay put. Whenever I decide to start a family and have kids, I want to take them to Vikings games and watch them play every Sunday. I want to tell them about the great Cris Carter and his amazing one handed catches. I want to tell them about the time I got to go see the Vikings beat the Packers live with #4 playing as a Viking. I want to tell them about the great D-lines that have donned the purple and gold. If something doesn't change soon, then a part of me will die and I will feel like a crucial page has been ripped out of my memory.
If the Vikings leave, I hope they also take the Minnesota name with them so that we can rename this state: The Midwestern Toilet.
Sorry for ranting, I am not a happy camper right now.
