10 Picks to fill a number of needs, the vikings have many directions in which they can take the draft. Here is my stab at the most logical.
Round 1) Matt Kalil LT Southern California
As close to a sure thing as possible. Will immediately upgrade the Offensive Line
Round 2) Stephen Hill WR Georgia Tech ( Would also not mind Alshon jeffrey)
Downfield threat with big catch radius and blazing speed. Upgrades recieving corp and gives another target
Round 3) Trumaine Johnson DB Montana (Josh Robinson could also be an option )
DB with great size and talent could fill Safety or Corner spot
Round 4) Josh Chapman DT Alabama
Run Stuffing rotation player that will help the vikings defense for years to come
Round 4) LaMichael James
Wild card utility player that would give the vikings a third down back
Round 4) Marvin Jones
Would be one of the best value picks of the draft. Jones will be an immediate contributor and may blossom into a star.
Round 5) Vontaze Burfict LB Arizona State
Fifth round flier on a position that needs depth
Round 6) Derrick Dennis OG Temple University
athletic guard prospect that was overlooked but posseses talent
Round 7) Janzen Jackson S McNeese State
Only character issues bring him down this far in the draft
Round 7) Audie Cole LB NC State
More depth for the linebacking core
