2012 NFL Draft: Open Thread Part Deux

Well, that certainly was fun, wasn't it?

The Minnesota Vikings got their left tackle to protect Christian Ponder by taking Matt Kalil with the fourth overall selection of the 2012 NFL Draft. They did so after pulling off an outstanding deal with the Cleveland Browns in which they got three extra picks to move down one spot. We'll have more analysis of this pick later on.

The draft continues on, as we're now through the first eight picks of the selection process. Will the Vikings use some of their remaining 12 picks to move into the first round? Will someone make a completely crazy pick? There's still plenty of time left in night one of the 2012 NFL Draft, so who knows what could happen?

Since the other thread had gotten a lot of comments already, it's starting to bog down. So, here's another chance for you to hang out with your fellow Vikings fans and talk about what's going on with the draft or what you're speculating the Vikings might do.

Enjoy, ladies and gentlemen!
