After what I thought was a very successful day one, I think Spielman missed an opportunity to move up just a few picks to make sure you got the right CB. As the draft fell, both Hayward and Johnson were available as our pick approached. Unfortunately, both got sniped right before us - and even worse was Hayward getting plucked by the Pack. I understand the need to balance trading more picks for a player - trust me, I know we have some holes to fill - but, this was a missed opportunity to get a player that is better fitted for the Cover-2 rather than a more man-to-man type guy in Robinson.
