what do y'all see as the keys to a successful season and what record would you consider successful?
For me the keys to a successful season start with-
1- AP getting and staying healthy which means we need Toby also healthy and picking up more carries to reduce wear on AP
2- The continuing development of Christian Ponder- The kids was way better than I had thought he would be last draft day when they called his name....Good decision making and reading defenses this year would go a long way to making me think he is our long term solution.
3- Getting something out of the rookies we drafted at safety and corner....
4- Matt Kalill living up to his draft position
5- A WR stepping up to give us another option other than Percy
6- Chad getting back to form
7- Production out of both Carlson & Rudolph- they don't have to be Gronk and Hernandez but 2 reliable first down creating TE's would go a long way.......
A successful season to me is 7-9 or better coupled with production from the youngsters and a healthy group of core players after week 16.... what do y'all think...
