For those of you who are so inclined to celebrate the holiday, a Happy Easter to you and yours out there in Viking-land.
As it is Easter Sunday, here's a story about a member of the Minnesota Vikings attempting his own resurrection. Granted, this is the resurrection of his career and his reputation, but after everything that happened with Chris Cook this past season, the man has to start somewhere. So, he visited an elementary school in his home town of Lynchburg, Virginia.
I'll probably never be a huge fan of Chris Cook, the person. But, this is America, land of second chances, and now that the man has been found "not guilty" by a jury of his peers, it's a positive that he's attempting to get his life back on track.
Hopefully for the duration of his time in Minnesota, Cook will find himself visiting a lot more playgrounds than courtrooms or similar places.
