In a move that although surprised me, but not one that I think will have a terribly negative impact on the team this season anyway, Asher Allen decided that three seasons in the NFL was enough. If you're not an expert on all things Allen (and I don't mean Gerald) you weren't missing much. Apart from four interceptions in three seasons, the kid hasn't done too much. When you watched him, apart from some decent games, it always seemed that where the receiver or the ball was, Allen wasn't. He was constantly burned on deep throws, one really deep on from Tom Brady back in 2010 comes to mind as an example, and with all the competition we brought in this season he was a long shot to make the starting roster anyway. I am honestly surprised he made the starting roster for the past few seasons, I haven't seen much of this kid that warranted a starting roster spot. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors Asher Allen.
