Trade Who ? Don't even think about it !

Stay connected for news and updates

Now comes the part of the business that is sometimes painful, who do we trade to move up as a team. The sacrificial warrior taking one for the team, lets throw out some scenarios

Joe Webb: Though he isn't a starter, he has proven himself as a capable QB and the flashes of being a good NFL QB. What would we get in return for him, a 3rd or 4th round another position player. I don't see the advantage of letting him go, because if Ponder goes down we will need a dependable back-up and given the fact he will push Ponder for the starting position

.

Chris Cook: Has shown that he can play corner and is a play maker. Because of his legal troubles, even though he was acquitted it's in teams minds and may bring his value down, but teams that are ravaged by injuries will take chances. He could bring a player swap and another 4th round pick, but given the possibilities maybe a 2nd round.

Wide Receiver: Can we afford to trade any given our own position, but Jenkins, Childs or Wright could there be any chance we move one of these guys.

Jared Allen: Man I absolutely love this guy and when I lived in Saint Joseph, Mo I was going crazy when he signed with the Vikings and the fans in KC were livid. It was brought up by another reader, his stock is at an all time high, we could get a first and another later round pick for him and maybe more. The thought of trading Jared for an unproven player scares the crap out of me, but do we even think about letting one of the faces of the franchise go.

I threw out a few possibilities, the nature of the business is cruel sometimes, but who do you think we could afford to let go and gain from the process.
