I project that 38 of the 53 players on the roster this season, played with the Vikings last season. Which means roughly 72% of the roster will have at least one season of experience. 28% of the roster will be rookies or will be new to the Vikings this season. This will mean that the Vikings roster will be almost 1/3 of newcomers. Obviously this number could increase based on players making a good impression at training camp. 34% of the Vikings roster either left football or left for another destination. As stated in my “Complete Roster Breakdown”, I said that 41% of the roster would be turned over and training camp cuts have not been made yet.
