Are we really gonna be as bad as they say, No !

Well training camp is about a month away and we are starting to gear up for the 2013 season. The Sports Writers have no respect for the purple and put us at the bottom, with a season of 5 - 11 to 7 - 9, Ouch.

With a lot of intangables I can understand the scepticism, but come on. Last year even with a quarterback (for the first 6 games, McNabbed) that couldn't hit a receiver standing still, then a rookie, that was thrown into a hornets nest. Things collapsed so fast we couldn't stop the free fall and it turned into a forgetable season. The offensive line and our secondary were the main culprits but our Offensive Coordinator hurt our situation more than helped. AP got hurt, Gerhart got hurt, Cook got arrested and injuries desimated our team.

So this year, what in the f---k have we got to look forward to! Here I go, first Offensively, AP is rehabbing like a man posessed, Gerhart is looking good and some good off season moves and drafts. Ponder is looking and making the necessary steps to improve to be our franchise QB. Our schedule works in our favor this year and given that we weren't blown out of but just a few games. The first few games we will need to grow and make a couple of adjustments but by game 4, AP will be looking better than his old self and the tandum of Harvin and Simpson is gonna be electric.

The defense will be faster and younger, sure the youth will make some mistakes but the speed and athleticism will create some much needed turn overs this next year. Winfield's on the field coaching will be huge for our secondary and he will rule the secondary like a general directing troops into battle, (Sorry for the military analogy) and Cook was acquitted. Our defensive front will again wreck havoc on opposing QBs, but our linebackers will have to grow and maybe they will surpass even my expectations.

Looking over all I like the other Sports writer that stated we will be the sleeper team of the NFC, that I whole heartly agree. We have play makers and I feel we will suprise a lot of people, we won't roll over, we aren't dead already and when Rodgers and Cutler find it isn't as easy to throw for 300+ yards. Then their defenses are having trouble stopping a more open offensive passing attack with a scary running duo, it is gonna be an interesting year, 9 - 7 or 10 - 6 !
