Bryant McKinnie says Vikings exaggerated his weight problems

Found this nugget over on NBC Sports.

Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie was released by the Vikings last summer amid reports that he had ballooned up to 400 pounds during the lockout. But McKinnie says that’s not true.

In fact, McKinnie says the most he ever weighed with the Vikings was 386, and that he was never a 400-pounder.

Article says he is at 350 pounds and in shape. Maybe they should not have cut him quite as fast as they did. I'm not sure on that one. We sure did not have a good backup plan. Now I'm Ok with where we are at, last season wasn't pretty and he dang near made it to the Super Bowl with the Ravens.

Just be glad you weren't playing for the Redskins. Mike would have had you getting in shape on the sidelines.

Really Bryant, Really.
