I live in Vancouver BC, Canada and i am hoping to go to the Vikings road game in seattle on November 4th. My plan is to surprise my 12 year old son with tickets the day before.
We went once before and had to to deal with some idiots that said some stupid things, anyway we got through it and found a super group of Viking fans tailgating that treated us like family and were awesome to me and my young son.
When we watched the game, Vikings won Chester Taylor had a huge run, we were stuck/surrounded by Seahawk fans. When we left we came acroos a huge group of decked out Vikings fans who appeared to have been sitting together...behind the Vikes bench.
My question is does anyone know if this is a place where the Vikings fans tend to sit and alos if anyone knows how i could get in and around other Viking fans.
I am a big Vikings fans and have been forever and it can be difficult in seahawks land and particularly in Canada. But I have done the right thing and my 12 year old son is a huge fan as is my 6 year old daughter. I am starting to plan out trip to Minnesota so all three of us can go to the game in the new stadium in 2016.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated on where to sit, any hints on getting tickets to sit with group and where the group meets before or tailgates at. I forgot to say when we met the large group at the end of the game they also were great with my son, he was 6, and at one point after figuring we were from Canada and he was 6 they chatted his name....he still remembers and it cemented what will be a life long fan.
A huge shout out to Skolgirl for her help and advice
Thanks for any help. GO VIKINGS!
