Two days and change until the chains come off and the gates are opened, in honor of the summer of 2012 and the posters who helped me formulate this contest, Tor66 and abba7 it is time to start logging a path to the all time top jersey numbers to be worn/yearned for by DN fans. Rules are official and binding.

List your top 3 jersey numbers from any player on the Vikings team that you have or would like to have. You can list reasons or not for your choices. Contest will run for a week or so. At the end I will tabulate the top Jersey Numbers preferred by DN fans. You do not actually have to have the jerseys you select. These might just be the jerseys you are buried with/in. You can change your answer at any future date after contest closes.

I'll start the process:

Number 79 - My classic and has my name and favorite team.

Number 22 - My favorite number Mr. Krause (should have been retired Smith and Palmer)

(Three is tough Matt Blair 59, Foreman 44, AP 28, Allen 69, Fran 10, Page 88, Percy 12 (18 until turned on us)

Number 52 - absolutely loved the Greenway pickup and the way he plays the game.
