Looking at the calendar for training camp, it looks like the dates of the 3rd and 4th of Aug would be best for and overnight and training camp. Spending the night of the 4th would be advisable as there is a late night scrimmage at the stadium. This is fun with lots of give aways and fan appreciation activities though fan appreciation day is the last day.

This is truly a good weekend. A person or family would need to take Friday off to take in the 2 days of camp. I felt this would be a nice time for a campout. Bring the family. If coming with a couple friends have a beer or two but remember we may have families so keep the behavior well...controlled. I would trust most would understand and not need this little notice. We would like this time to be where you can bring your kids and wife and get to meet a few fellow DNers.

Tents or Camper either will work. If you want, as soon as I get a count of campers, we can check nearby motels if you are wussy and let the wife make you stay in a motel :-). I will designate a day or 2 as DN days and check to see where we can meet between practices or see if they will let us have a tailgating site in the parking lot. On those days we will need some picnic canopies and decide whether to cater some food in (at a cost) or go out and just socialize in the lot between practices. Bring some folding chair and relax with friends.

CAMPERS = Please respond as to your definite interest on the camp out days and how many sites you will need. When I get a count I will see where the best place to camp would be. Preferably a place with a pool. It can get hot out there. Please start your plans and post your interest. No maybe's. I need a definite count. "Maybe's" can check in later if space is available. Let's make this event a great time. Again-DN days for tailgating will be announced in a couple days. Let's get this weekend set 1st. Leave your reservation on a comment.
