Why not Otah?

So I know Loadholt has been playing well in practice but I just keep thinking that at some point he’s going to revert to being crappy at pass protection and just generally a meh RT.

Someone please explain to me the downside of picking Jeff Otah up off the waiver wire, stashing him on IR for a year, and then potentially having the best tackle tandem in the league for a good long time to come? I know we don’t have the specifics on his knee, but he's only 26 and it seems like a very low risk for a potentially high reward. If Loadholt has a HOF year, great! We stick with him and move on. If not, we've got options next year.

I know the FO isn’t using the “R word” but wouldn’t this, generally-acknowledged, rebuilding year be the perfect time for it?
