$175 for Tebow....seriously?!?!?!
I wanted to test the waters for interest in setting up an ESPN fantasy auction league. After years of having to play many leagues to luck out to get the 1st pick to nab Peterson, I started enjoying auction leagues more. For those of you not familiar with them, each owner takes turns nominating a player. Owners bid on the player with the highest bidder getting their guy. Think of it like fantasy football meets eBay, just without the buy it now & non-payment hassels. You can have a shot to get all the players you're targeting this year and ignore the ones you think will be busts.
Depending on the interest level, I'd start 1 or 2 standard leagues (10 teams). You get $200 to use to fill out your team.
Standard roster can be found - here.
Standard scoring can be found - here.
The draft will occur Sat, Sept 1 at 3:00pm CST. Nothing worse than a key player going down right after the draft in one of the final remaining pre-season games. If the league fills up and more are interested, I'll create a second league.
