When I think back on some of the more frustrating times of my Viking fandom certain villans continuously pop up in my nightmares....Hank Stram and his giant smug puss, Tom Landry and his grim visage locked under that stupid hat, Walter Payton not even dampening his sweatband with the ease he was able to elude our hapless tacklers, but the one guy who truly jumps out at me as the all time enemy # 1 of my beloved horned men is Roger Staubach. Sonovabitch pulled every game he ever played against us out in my mind's eye at least ....and the real real sad thing is he is a hard guy to hate on-- Navy man- successful post career in construction, never an on field or off field incident, once took the back up who was bad mouthing him and kicked his ass in an after practice arranged fight...Honorable, talented. tough, smart, driven and I hate the sonovabitch with all my purple heart.
