why stats mean nothing

well not that they have not meaning but I will explain.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/headToHeadTeamResults?statsId1=25&statsId2=16&gameId=20120923016

in the head to head match up listed in the link the Vikings are favored in all but three areas. Does it mean we will win?does it mean we should win? Does it mean we could win?

The only for sure thing is we could win and that has nothing to do with the stats, every game must be played to decide the victor.

On one other note, there is a lot of talk about CP not going down field enough. IF I remember correctly the coaching staff did not have BF go down field at all in the first two games of 2010 it was not until the 3rd game that things started to open up. If coaches did not want BF going deep to early in the season, even different coaches, it should be no surprise that the offense has not opened up yet. I will say that CP needs more time in the pocket for this to happen. It seems every WR will get open given more time. We just do not have the WR to get open deep right away so we will have to get more protection, those deep passes are not going to happen when CP is flushed from the pocket and rolling out.
