We've got a pretty interesting match-up for this week's installment of Thursday Night Football, as the New York Giants head to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers.
There are a couple of big-name quarterbacks in this one, with reigning Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning lining up behind center for the Giants and Cam Newton taking the snaps for the Panthers. The Giants will be without Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad Bradshaw thanks to it being a short week for them, which could make the difference in this one.
These two teams are part of a group of an NFL record 20 teams that are at 1-1 through the first two weeks of action, the biggest such group in the history of the league. Last week, Manning threw for 510 yards in the Giants' 41-34 comeback win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the Panthers kept the New Orleans Saints* as the only team in the NFC without a victory after two weeks, triumphing at home by a score of 35-27.
Enjoy the game with your fellow Vikings fans right here, ladies and gentlemen!
