Percy Harvin is Vikes' top weapon (Best Player in NFL)

Article today by Seifert on espn about Harvin. Greenway went out on a limb and stated Harvin is the best player in the NFL. Most receptions and has carried this team on his back the first three games. No arguments from me, Percy is one of the best picks we've had as-of-late. Had the little mix-up in June and the headache thing and the fumble in the championship game, other than that, its been lights out.

The Pittsburg game stands out in my mind when they scored and he ran the kickoff back in for a touchdown on sheer determination. Speilman did Harvin a favor by not signing him to a long term deal last summer as Percy has made himself a boatload of money this year. He will more than makeup for the outplayed rookie contract.

I have no ideal what Harvin's value is but to this team it is huge. The team will have a problem next year as they made all these short term deals and will have to pony up next spring.

As the season progresses, I hope other players can step up (Carlson, Toby, Rudolph, Simpson, DA, Jenkins, Burton) and make plays as other teams will start putting 3 guys on Percy to slow him down (as if that is even possible). Big game for this young team in Detroit and it is an exciting time to be a Viking fan again. Musgrave actual has me in his corner after last weeks game, keep it balanced. SKOL.
