Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
Friday, as we've said before, is the day that the National Football League releases the final injury reports for each team leading up to Sunday's action. So, here are the final injury reports for both the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions.
We'll start with the Vikings, as they're the visiting team this Sunday.
| Player | Position | Injury | Sunday Status |
| Erin Henderson | LB | Concussion | Out |
| Mistral Raymond | S | Ankle | Out |
| Andrew Sendejo | S | Ankle | Questionable |
| Jared Allen | DE | Neck | Probable |
| Marvin Mitchell | LB | Ankle | Probable |
| Christian Ponder | QB | Neck | Probable |
| D'Aundre Reed | DE | Calf | Probable |
| Kyle Rudolph | TE | Quad | Probable |
Henderson still hasn't passed his league-mandated concussion tests, so he will miss a second consecutive game at linebacker for the Vikings. Marvin Mitchell filled in armirably for him last week, and will get the start this week as well. Jasper Brinkley will stay on the field with Chad Greenway in nickel situations, and he'll be tested much more than he was last week against a high-flying Detroit offense. Jamarca Sanford will get the start at safety in place of Raymond. The Vikings were working out defensive backs today with their issues at safety, including our old friend Tyrell Johnson.
Now, on to the Detroit Lions injury report. It's a pretty lengthy one.
| Player | Position | Injury | Sunday Status |
| Corey Williams | DT | Knee | Out |
| Louis Delmas | S | Knee | Doubtful |
| Travis Lewis | LB | Quad | Doubtful |
| Justin Durant | LB | Back | Questionable |
| Mikel Leshoure | RB | Groin | Questionable |
| Tony Scheffler | TE | Calf | Questionable |
| Amari Spievey | S | Groin | Questionable |
| Corey Hilliard | T | Elbow | Probable |
| Lawrence Jackson | DE | Calf | Probable |
| Calvin Johnson | WR | Ankle | Probable |
| Rob Sims | G | Knee | Probable |
| Matthew Stafford | QB | Hip | Probable |
| Titus Young | WR | Knee | Probable |
Stafford has gone from not practicing on Wednesday to limited participation on Thursday to full participation today. I'd be pretty shocked if he wasn't out there starting for Detroit on Sunday. Delmas is a big loss for the Lions, particularly with the Vikings bringing back Jerome Simpson on Sunday. Lions fans appear to be a bit dismayed by Leshoure's being listed as questionable coming off of his 26-carry, 100-yard performance last week against the Tennessee Titans. Kevin Smith will likely get the majority of the carries of Leshoure can't go. Corey Williams just had his knee worked on, so he'll probably miss more than just this game.
And there are your final injury reports for the Vikings and the Lions.
