The Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions have released their lists of inactive players for this afternoon's match-up. Let's take a look at those lists, starting with the Vikings.
OL Mark Asper
QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson
WR Stephen Burton
LB Erin Henderson
S Mistral Raymond
S Andrew Sendejo
WR Jarius Wright
The Vikings having two wide receivers on the inactive list means that they're still rolling with four wide receivers. . .Percy Harvin, Devin Aromashodu, Michael Jenkins, and the returning Jerome Simpson. Jamarca Sanford gets the start at safety in place of Raymond, and Marvin Mitchell gets the start at linebacker in place of Henderson.
Now a look at the inactives for the Lions.
S Louis Delmas
OL Jason Fox
OL Corey Hilliard
LB Travis Lewis
QB Kellen Moore
S Amari Spievey
DT Corey Williams
Ricardo Silva, a safety who the Lions promoted from the practice squad less than 24 hours ago, will start at safety for the Lions today. Hopefully this can mean big things for the Vikings' tight ends in the passing game, as well as the ground game.
Those are the inactive lists for this afternoon's game, folks. Enjoy!

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the first Game Stream at The Daily Norseman. With the debut of SB Nation United, the Game Threads are going to have a bit of a different organizational structure.
As you saw when you came to the main page, this is part of what's known as "Game Day Central" for this particular match-up. All of the Open Threads and everything else about today's game is going to be housed within this area, which is known as a "stream." Any pieces of information, any animations or videos or posts about injuries, will be in the stream here. This way, you won't have to hunt around to be able to find any information about today's game.
There will still be an open thread for each quarter, and people will still be commenting on the action, same as it ever was. However, there should be a lot more information in the thread than there would have been in an individual post. It might not make sense now, but after the game is over, you'll be able to see how the flow of things works out under the new format.
So, enjoy the Game Threads, just the way you always have here at The Daily Norseman. The differences should be negligible, and we'll still have the same community feel that our site has become known for during coverage of Minnesota Vikings football.
