Give Flipping Simpson a Grade for his opening game with the Vikings.

If I have it correct, Simpson had 4 catches for 50 yards to lead the team and two long pass interference calls. I was hoping for a breakout game of the ages as in Moss's rookie year. It didn't turn out like that. We didn't see any flips today but I did see a player that looks to be just behind Harvin as a wide receiver talent wise.

I was watching on tv so I couldn't see the one-on-one match ups. I didn't see breakaway speed that we desperately need. Had two catches late in a tight game. The one off a deflection and the 3rd down thriller that helped eat much needed time off the clock. We seem to have a problem killing the clock. Thankfully the defense held up today.

I give Simpson a solid A for his day's work. He really helped the team to victory today by doing his part and what more could we really ask for. He had to miss three games and couldn't practice with the team. Then come in and start. He definitely had an impact on the game. What did you think?
