Joe Webb as the quarterback of the Vikings. Take a good look, folks. . .might be the last time you see it. - Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports
The Packers got the ball first coming out of the locker room, and it appeared that the Vikings were going to force them to settle for a field goal after a nice play by Harrison Smith (who's one of the few Vikings that appears to have actually shown up tonight). However, when the Packers lined up for the field goal, Jasper Brinkley got the Vikings flagged for having twelve men on the field, giving the Packers a first-and-goal situation. They took advantage immediately, with John Kuhn getting his second touchdown of the night on a 9-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers, making the score 24-3.
The Vikings' offense continues to be awful, and the defense has been suffering as a result. They mounted a nice drive towards the end of the quarter, but it was snuffed out by a Sam Shields interception on a pass intended for Devin Aromashodu. That's where we stand as we move on to the fourth quarter of play at Lambeau Field.
One quarter of play remaining in a crazy 2012 Minnesota Vikings' season, folks. . .let's enjoy it to the best of our ability.
