Well this is what happens when your team stinks, you start looking forward to next season by week 4 (poor Jags, they do this every year)!

So by this point we all know that this season is lost and we have a chance at the #1 overall pick if we Tank right. That's too bad. We have had so much great talent wasted in recent years by bum coaches (Leslie Frazier, Brad Childress, Bill Musgrave) and bum QB's (Christian Ponder, Tarvaris Jackson) who can't call plays or make plays.

You'd think after so many years of disappointment a team would actually figure something out. I guess not. So that is why I am going to figure it out for them right now!

The very first thing we need to do is fire our entire coaching staff. No excuses. That means HC Leslie Frazier, OC Bill Musgrave, DC Alan Williams, STC Mike Prefer, our DB's coach, our QB coach, our LB's coach, etc. I don't care if the players like them or not. The bottom line is that they are not winning games and need to be replaced ASAP. All I want is a coach who can win some games and light a fire under our players B-U-T-T-S. And maybe that's John Gruden, Lovie Smith, or SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT FOOTBALL!

The second order of business is to get rid of our QB's Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel and Josh Freeman. Let's just admit it now old-timers, the NFL has changed. It's a win now league and that is exactly what Christian Ponder isn't doing. It's OK to admit a player is a bust. Matt Cassel is just a big no no. And there is no way Josh Freeman will be on our roster next year. I don't think he'll really show us anything that will make us want to keep him around.

The third thing we need to do is revamp our secondary. It has really stunk for too much time now. I'm tired of not being able to stop the pass in a passing league. In fact, I would love to get rid of everyone of our DB's except for FS Harrison Smith and Rookie CB Xavier Rhodes. We need at least 2 good CB's next year and another SS who isn't afraid of hitting.

We also need a legit MLB and a Guard to plug other holes up. But the #1 thing that the Minnesota Vikings could do that would affect their franchise the most would be to finally draft that franchise QB we have so long awaited. Every year we go into the season with a stop-gap QB or a bust that we know will never pan out. We need to draft a QB in the 1st round of the 2014 NFL Draft. No excuses. When it comes to your QB, I do not believe that there is such a thing as a "value pick". These are the top 5 QB's our scouts should be looking at right now.

1. Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville

2. Tajh Boyd, Clemson

3. Marcus Mariota, Oregon

4. Brett Hundley, UCLA

5. Derek Carr, Fresno State

Sorry Manziel fans, but I really don't want a clown on our roster. I think that Stephen Morris (Miami) will just turn into another Ponder. And David Fales? He'll just be another Matt Scott. Don't know who he is? Exactly.

You see my friends, in today's pass-happy NFL you've GOT to have a franchise QB. That is what has plagued the Vikings for so long. I don't see any other way we can find our franchise QB outside of the Draft. So there you go. The greatest (and most obvious) offseason plan ever created.

Do you want to complain about other things the Vikings aren't doing right? Do you still want to spread all the FABULOUS Ponder love around? Then feel free to do so in the comment section below!
