Seriously. This whole notion of trading away great players is dumb. Unless a kings ransom is paid its dumb. Flat out. No question. And last time I checked Al Davis was six feet under and not making bone head trades anymore. The only other organization with a penance for dumb trades is the Vikings. And I hope that is in our past and no longer part of our organization. From the trading for Herschel to the trading away of Moss...I just hope its done. Lets continue to build through the draft and sign strategic free agents (which we have been lacking as of late).
I would like one example of a team trading away their best players that has actually worked out. (And it not being for a Kings Ransom)
