Give me a break! I'm breaking a rib from laughing at the thought.
This team is loaded with "high character guys". That is what Frazier values above all else. If you don't meet Frazier's definition of a "high character guy", you sit on the bench in favor of some career special teamer. So, we know that they will come out and give it their best shot no matter what. We saw that in the Carolina and Giants games.
Note to Vikings fans: you are getting exactly what you deserve. Too many of you bought into the uproar over the Love Boat and Moss "interacting" with the goal post at Lambeau. In response, what we got was a team full of choir boys who don't know how to play to win, and a coach who is the prototypical "Minnesota Nice" guy.
At this point, the only thing the team is missing is Tim Tebow. He would be the perfect final piece to Frazier's vision of nice mediocrity.
Yes, I know. A lot of you are going to have problems with this message. It contradicts your view of how the world really works. Well, sorry, but Frazier and his contingent of "high character guys" are weekly proof that the Frazier//Tebow philosophy is a philosophy of failure. It is getting its ass kicked, in living color, before your eyes every week.
This off season, I am looking forward to the Vikings bringing in a "bad boy" coach. Someone who is interested in winning, Someone who plays players because they can get the job done, not because of their personal beliefs. It will be something that merits being called professional football, and it will be glorious.
