Are the Vikings purposely driving down Freeman's stock value ?

With the impending season of disaster finishing up in a few weeks, when the Vikings signed Josh Freeman was there another plan in play? Rolling out Freeman on national TV after only a week of practice and not bring him in the rest of the season are they trying to drive down his value to resign him. They do not have to say a thing week after week about his position other than Josh is working hard and is our 3rd option. Then all they have to do is let the medias imagination run wild, thanks to Tampa Bay creating all of the doubt.

This will allow the Vikings to renegotiate his contract to get him cheaper and with a shorter contract, then let him compete in training camp. There is no question that Freeman can play and has an arm that can reach more than 40 yards on a hail mary, (Sorry Ponder had to throw that in). So conspiracy theory begin, is Speilman prepping for next year when he brought Freeman in, could he see that the 3 Stooges were just creating a season long movie? It remains to be seen in the off season, starting with "Black Monday"
