Minnesota Vikings News and Links, 12/26

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sport

Only 364 more shopping days until Christmas, ladies and gentlemen! Better get on your shopping now. . .you don't want to be doing these things at the last minute.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread, the only thing we've added is Mark's latest off-season plan. There are some links from other places for your reading pleasure, though.

-Fox Sports North has its Top Ten Metrodome Moments for the Minnesota Vikings. We might just have to do our own list prior to destruction beginning on 18 January.

-Former Vikings' receiver Randy Moss thinks he could still catch 15 touchdown passes in a season.

-Tight end Chase Ford is making the most of his time on the Vikings' roster after spending time on the practice squad.

-1500 ESPN asks who you'd prefer to have in Minnesota for the next three years. . .Adrian Peterson or Tony Romo.

The rules of the Open Thread are the same as they've ever been, ladies and gentlemen. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the bad language to a minimum/use the spoiler tags if you feel that you absolutely must curse.

Here's your musical selection for today.

For yours truly, heaven is just a couple of miles away, as my wife and I are going to be spending the better part of our day today at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It's going to be awesome, because FOOTBALL and so forth.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Thursday, everyone. Enjoy the rest of your day, and we'll have more for you as the day rolls on.
