Back To The Future....

Ok Mark the date, December 4th 2013. Got it? Good tuck it away so I don’t have to say told you so.

Here is my prediction on what we will see unfold at years end. I know it is going to be difficult and absolutely hard to believe, yet I see this like a bad poem written on the bathroom wall.

First and most absurd, Leslie and company keep their jobs. Turn away now because it doesn’t get better.

Ponder stays, and up to and through part of camp and preseason the powers that be keep telling us he is the Vikings quarter back. They shop Cassel and he finds some new pine. Freeman stays and again the powers that be announce he will compete with Ponder through camp and preseason. Freeman wins the role and he’s the new and improved for next season with Ponder backing up. Believe it.

Allen stays, whether they renegotiate. The shocker and with much press they trade AD. announcing all the hoopla of how hard it was, so forth so on to see him go. Toby G steps up.

Draft wise they focus on defense. They take a QB in later rounds that no one on the DN researched, because we had not heard the name much. He is there to develop wink wink. Webb is traded to Seattle or Frisco.

That’s the meat of it. Call me crazy but I honestly see most of this taking place.

Note * small tid bit that plays no part in this. Just found it to be interesting. If any of you did some reading on how the Wilfs did the U of M in the 2 year negotiations. You will find not only are the Wilfs shrewd but almost come off as deserving. I don’t see them really taking the coaching or the building of this team big time until the end of 2015. Another side note Leslie Frazier son is one of the lawyers representing the Vikings in those negotiations.
