Minnesota Vikings News And Links, 3/15

Stephen Dunn

We've made it to the end of another week, folks, and we're still watching Winter Park with anticipation to see if there will be any news today.

Former Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings came to Minnesota yesterday and had dinner with Zygi Wilf, Leslie Frazier, Bill Musgrave, Jared Allen, and probably a few other people as well. Nothing was announced yesterday, but meetings will continue today in the Twin Cities. Rest assured, if there are any developments, we will have it for you as soon as we can.

There were some other comings and going yesterday as well, as the Vikings got a veteran backup quarterback by signing former Kansas City Chiefs signal caller Matt Cassel to a contract. They also had their first departure of the off-season, as linebacker Jasper Brinkley signed a deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

Since it's Friday. . .well, let's just toss this one out there.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open for this Friday, ladies and gentlemen. The rules are the same as they've always been. . .no politics, no religion, and keep the language toned down. And, as I said above, if anything big happens, we'll have it on this very website for you as soon as we can.
