The power of take part.
Per definition I'm against everything and everyone trying to predict the future (hands full trying clear up yesterday and cope with today). This includes prophetesses, explore me and my whifes genetic pool (with possible outcome-possibilities (wich is nonetheless to late)), reading the annual pension-cash-out-prediction-letter, watching the weather channel and mock drafts.
Per definition I'm against everything and everyone trying to dictate my life without me taking part of the process (Hey! isn't you from Sweden? Yes I am. No, you are wrong. Let's discuss that at some other blog)
I've watch the draft and I've always had my "own" opinion, but mock drafts... nah... come on... grow up.
It is what it is and it will be what it will be (doesn't that sounds a little bit contradic...? Please, I'm human).
Yet, a few years ago I began to read more and more mock drafts, getting more and more involved and this year I've also chared my own opinion. Not about which player (couldn't care less about college football) but about which position we should focus on. This step might ultimately lead me into college football and... oh my God. How did this happened?
Peer pressure? Maybe... (do not underestimate peer pressure, folks), but I would choose the words "take part".
We all go to great lengths for this team and we do care and for that reason we ultimately share our thoughts, opinions and expectations.
In this case, being part of something like DN which is part of something bigger like Minnesota Vikings make me part of... all of you! And all of you, that is... Yeh, all of us!
Being part of something bigger isn't necessarily something about religion, but it's absolutely something about being a human.
Glad to be part of this something bigger, and thanks for
2013 will definitely be another memorable Minnesota Viking-year!
