Webb to WR?

Yes, it could be happening.. again. According to this article from the NFL's website: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000159677/article/vikings-to-explore-switching-joe-webb-to-wide-receiver

I'm surprised we haven't seen anything pop up on the DN about it yet. My opinion: Its about damn time. They should've left him playing WR for the last couple seasons. When they decided Webb wasn't their QBotF and drafted Ponder, they should've had him learning how to play WR. Now we've wasted a couple seasons of his career trying to teach him to be a completely different position.

But at least it'll do something we haven't done yet: Get Webb's athletic talents on the field more consistently. The guy has hops. He has speed. He has huge hands. He just needs to refine his game and route-running now. Hell, I hope we throw him out there on kick and punt returns too. Anything to get the ball in the guy's hands. Even better? It *finally* will put an end to the "Joe Webb as QB" controversy. Its almost enough to make me want to thank Green Bay.
