So everyone's hammering out the ideas of how to get the insanely, athletically gifted Joe Webb onto the playing field.
We've heard about possibly returning kicks, which he has tried before. Some say he was awful, others say it was only one game and therefore not enough to judge him by.
Then of course the latest is moving to wide receiver. Arguably a position of definite need, and the position that he was originally drafted for before Klink tampered with that.
But..... What about trying him as our
THIRD DOWN CHANGE OF PACE BACK?
He's got outstanding speed and incredible moves, and if need be could complete a pass or two!!
What is there to lose with this. Make the move and if it doesn't work out he gets released before the start of the season. He's likely headed down that path at receiver anyway. Even if they draft a late round 3rd down back, Joe adds competition to the mix.
So, am I a complete loon? What does Valhalla think about this possibility?
