We all know Cordarrelle is a boom or bust pick, and nobody's going to argue with that. That said, he has the potential that no other recent or upcoming WR prospect can match. You don't win Super Bowls with average players, and RS clearly doesn't feel that eeking into the playoffs is "success".
I'm ecstatic to see that he's willing to trust his instinct (which has generally been pretty good) and give us fans something to cheer for.
If he's a bust, we can grab a 1st round WR and a 2nd round ILB next year. If he's a boom, we can still do that (cept go 1st round ILB and 2nd round WR), while having CP for an additional 4 full years.
