Keenan allen has been mocked to the vikings a lot recently, at the pick makes a lot of sense. The Vikings need another threat outside of Greg jennings and Jarius wright, and Keenan Allen is one of the draft's best receivers. Unfortunately, my interpretations of James Dator's live tweet of his private workout were that he absolutely killed it. I say unfortunately because it seemed that there were a lot of teams interested who pick before us. The Panthers, holding the 14th pick, sounded especially interested, and their head coach, Ron Rivera, was in attendance. He actually had a one on one conversation with Allen, so I would say he is interested. Also represented were the Steelers (17th), Colts (24th), Rams (16th and 22nd), Jets (9th), Packers (26th), Texans (27th), Broncos (28th), 49ers (31st), Jaguars (2nd), Falcons (30th), Bengals (21st), Redskins (no 1st round pick), Browns (6th), and Giants (19th). Now obviously, some of these teams are just doing their due diligence. Also, many teams pick too high too get him, while others pick high enough that picking him would be a reach. But trades, ahead or back in the draft, are very likely, so teams like the Jets could trade back, while the 49ers might trade up with their ridiculous amount of picks. On the bright side, however, it seems that Cordarelle Patterson did not have a private workout, which may cause him to slip to us.
