Bored last night so watched 2012 game highlights...Josh Robinson is the bomb in a bad way.

A few observations:

1) God Harvin made some impressive catches as did Ponder make the corresponding throws. Seems like they had timing routes planned in case of blitzes.

2) Never truly noticed how often Josh Robinson got completely smoked, whether it was Alshon Jeffrey or another #2. Not a speed problem..from what I can tell he just doesn't stay close enough to his man and seems to have no feel for where the receivers - or ball - will end up. It's night and day comparing him with say Rhodes (based on OTA's) who stays in front of his man. Robinson, I notice, always plays behind his man. Wonder if this is some Tampa 2 thing they are telling him to do.

You have to wonder if this guy will be a complete bust. He does catch the ball when it's thrown right at him (rare for Vikes CB's) and has great speed on interceptions. But he is far from starting material..I see why Frazier benched him. Hopefully he is better in the nickel D..if not it will be a long season.

Whereas AJ Jefferson, to his credit, was always right on his man but just doesn't get his arms up high enough. I could see this guy becoming a decent backup with another year under this belt.
