A warm-hearted and I honestly have to say a wonderful farewell-letter from someone who has been a member of the Vikings for many years.
Here's a little tidbit from the article:
I will miss my teammates, my friends, my house. I will miss Minnesota, a state I never even really thought about until I was informed that I would be working there. I will miss the fans, and how loud they made the Old Inflatable Toilet during key moments, sound echoing down from that dirty old roof (back before it collapsed) and deafening the other team.
I will miss everything, but I will remember it all, and no matter how it ended, I will treasure the time I got to spend in this fine state. I may have to look California now (and I gotta be honest, the winters are a lot better) but I’ll never forget feeling Minnesota.
I wish you all well, Cris Kluwe....
You were a good punter for many years on this team and also an unique personality in this stereotype league.
... but not when you play against us!
