I was watching this video and was amazed at both how stupid and how fat McNabb is.
At about 1:05 he rips Ponder for turning the ball over. Ponder has averaged 17.5 turnovers a year, or just a little over 1 a game. McNabb averaged 13.8 a year over his career which is only marginally better. He needs to shut his mouth.
At about 2:30 he says Ponder took a step back last year. Ponder increased his comp% by 8 points and changed his td/int ration from 13/13 to 18/12 and he did it with practically no one at receiver. At the very least his season was on par with his first, and I would argue it was better.
At 3:40 he is asked who will affect the team the most out of the rookies and he picks Floyd. I guess this is just an opinion, so there is no wrong answer, but how anyone could go with Floyd, a backup, over Rhodes, who will be a starter, is beyond me. I actually think Rhodes is a much better prospect than Floyd and expect more out of him. I would also probably pick CP over Floyd. Floyd might get some pressure and might make some sacks, but I am expecting a good 5-10 TDs out of CP this year, which imo is much more valuable than the few plays that Floyd will make.
Finally, his whole speech at about the 5:00 mark is just retarded. He really doesnt give any rationale for why we will win less than 10 games this year other than a tough schedule. Last year we beat the 49ers, the Packers, and the Texans, all playoff teams. I personally think 10 games is very doable.
To be fair, the other commentators were equally stupid, the questions were so obvious, like the one, can AP do it all or do they need to be more balanced to go deep in the playoffs? Uh duh, who in their right mind is gonna say we dont need an improved passing game.
