Jay Cutler said he may hold out of training camp unless the Bears offer him a new contract extension. Aaron Rodgers got a five year extension worth 110 million dollars. Joe Flacco got a deal with a 29 million dollar signing bonus and 52 million in guaranteed money for a total of 62 million in the first 3 years. I'm better than those guys.
Cutler said he is looking for a deal in-between Flacco and Rodgers. I don't want to get dragged down by the numbers but a 4 year 90 million dollar deal with 30 million in bonus money with 45 million guaranteed would be in the ballpark of what I'm worth to the Bears. The Bear faithful know that I'm the key to the future of the Bear's franchise. If we are going to make a playoff run in the next couple of years, it starts with me. The front office has finally brought in some decent receivers with my old teammate from the Broncos in Brandon Marshall. The rookie Jeffries did ok last year once he finally got his ass in shape but we sure could use a couple of decent tight ends for our new offense but they will be scarce after what has happened this summer.
We finally got some people in the front office that know what they are doing. Devin Aromashodu has finally been brought back in from the Vikings and we still need to get that Summers kid back too, so I have someone to throw the ball to other than Brandon Marshall.
I have been declared the face of the Bear's fanchise since Urlacher was waived. I could never understand why people liked him as he played defense and he was hurt most of the time. I have been anointed the straw that stirs the drinks around Halas hall. I'm the biggest name in Chicago sports and I'd like to start getting the respect and pay that go along with that title. They stepped up and paid Forte and Peppers, now it is my turn to make some lunch money.
The offensive line has been a garbage pile. They finally traded Gabe Carimi to the Bucs. This rookie Long may be ok but he is still a rookie and when we go up against Matthews and Allen I need better protection than that. They brought in JaMarcus Russell and told him if he could put on another 50 pounds that we would use him on the offensive line. Now that is a first round pick that has some athletic ability.
I'm hoping the hold out doesn't have to last to long or that I will need to be a malcontent to get paid. This may be my last big pay day and I need the security. I just got married and have the smoking under control, I'm in a good place right now. A seven year 119.5 million dollar deal for Tony Romo, This is Chicago , Jay Cutler's town nobody cares about hockey, it is all about football baby.
