53-man Roster prediction exstravaganza!

Hiya everyone! I haven't posted anything in a while, ever since Chris stole the name game from me :P Anyway, I figured its as good of time as any to do a roster prediction. I'm not even gonna try guessing the practice squad, though. Without further ado. here's the semi(ish)-educated guesses:

QB(3) Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel, Mcleod Bethel-Thompson. No surprises here. Next:

RB(3) Adrian Peterson, Toby Gerhart, Bradley Randle. As much as I want to trade Gerhart and get something in return before he leaves, the Vikings won't. Randle makes it over Matt Asiata for versatility. Asiata doesn't bring anything we don't already have. Next:

FB(2): Jerome Felton, Zach Line. MOAR FULLBACK! But anyways, Zach Line is to good of a player to let to go of. Next:

WR(6): Greg Jennings, Jerome Simpson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Jarius Wright, Stephen Burton, Joe Webb. Jerome Simpson makes it over Patterson for now, but that will switch by the bye week. Stephen has really taken a step forward this offseason so he makes the roster. Webb will beat Adam Theilen because of his experience with the Vikings system. Greg Childs will start on the PUP list and make his way to the active roster. Next:

TE(3): Kyle Rudolph, John Carlson, Rhett Ellison. Umm... yea. Next:

OT(3): Matt Kalil, Phil Loadholt. I have a reason for two tackles! I needed to free up space. Next:

OG(4): Brandon Fusco, Charlie Johnson, Jeff Baca, Travis Bond. I know, I know, Travis Bond didn't do well at the game, however he can also play tackle. Also no one else has impressed me too much. And he got bit by a car! The other gaurds aren't much of a surprise, with the starters maintaining continuity. Next:
C(2): John Sullivan, Joe Berger. No surprises. Sullivan should have been a Pro Bowler and Joe Berger is one of the best backups in he league and can play gaurd. Next:
DE(3): Jared Allen, Brian Robison, Everson Griffen. Do we need more than these three? The future Hall of Famer, one of the most underrated players in the league, and the other best backup in the league who thrives as a backup. Next;
UT(3): Kevin Williams, Sharrif Floyd, Christian Ballard. Kevin and Sheriff Floyd are locks to make the roster and Christian has slowly and steadily improved since he was drafted. I was going for Everett Dawkins, but he's not doing too well so far. Next:
NT(2): Fred Evans, Letroy Guion. In a small upset Evans wins the starting role because of better play. Next:

SLB(2): Chad Greenway, Larry Dean. Greenway is a perrenial Pro Bowler, and Dean is our best special teamer LB. Next:

WLB(2): Desmond Bishop, Gerald Hodges. Bishop will be okay and NOT injured. Hodges could be a good nickel-backer because of his coverage abilities. Next:

MLB(2) Erin Henderson, Michael Mauti. As much as I'd like to keep Audie Cole, his spot was taken by Zach Line. As much as I hate to say it, Mauti is just plain better. Sorry, no more MOAR AUDIE COLE!! anymore. Next:

CB(6):Chris Cook, Xavier Rhodes, Josh Robinson, A.J. Jefferson, Roderick Williams, Bobby Felder. The first three spots, barring injury are locked up. I personally think A.J. Jefferson has huge potential. From what I've seen, he's consistently in position to make a play, but he can't complete it. That is coachable. Roderick Williams has proed himself in the pass driven CFL. Bobby Felder, despite giving up a touchdown Friday has had surprisingly good coverage. Next:

S(4): Harrison Smith, Mistral Raymond, Jamarca Sanford, Andrew Sendejo. I could only carry four safeties, so Sendejo makes it over Robert Blanton for his special teams prowess. Mistral Raymond starting at SS might confuse some people. My thoughts are that Sanford is very one dimensional, he's very good in the run game. Mistral Raymond is known for his pass coverage, but I think he showed Friday he can play the run also. Next:

K(1): Blair Walsh. No surprise. Next:

P(1): Jeff Locke. "We're carrying a punter?!!?! They're useless "

LS(1): Cullen Loeffler. He'll be the next special teamer to go. Ryan Longwell, Chris Kluwe, and soon Loeffler. Next:

KR(isn't an extra spot, so doesn't count against the roster, so no number. The numbers are mostly for me to figure out how many players are on the roster anyways): Cordarrelle Patterson. First play Friday. Need I say more? Next:

PR: Josh Robinson. His speed should be killer on returns.

And there you have it. My probably very stupid guesses as to what the roster will turn out like. Please excuse grammatical errors, this was written on an iPod (never again...). Thanks for reading!
